Needle Syringe Program
This program is a major public health initiative to minimise the spread of blood borne viruses such as HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B and C amongst injecting drug users and to the wider community.
The program provides equipment which includes needles and syringes, sterile swabs, condoms, water-based lubricants, sharps disposal containers for the safe disposal of used injecting equipment and provide health information.
The service is for anyone wanting to access the service, no geographical boundaries apply.
The equipment is provided free of charge, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm (excluding public holidays) at the following locations:
Dianella Community Health, GP Super Clinic, 42-48 Coleraine St, Broadmeadows
Dianella Community Health, 55 Craigieburn Rd, Craigieburn
