Better Start for Children with a Disability

Funded by the Department of Social Services, the Better Start for Children with a Disability program provides access to Early Intervention services for eligible children.

Children with an eligible diagnosis must register for Better Start before they turn 6 years old. Access to funding continues until they turn 7 years of age.

Dianella provides Early Intervention services as part of this Government initiative.

The funding supports the delivery of multidisciplinary evidence based Early Intervention to facilitate improved cognitive, emotional and social development prior to a child starting school.

Early Intervention services provide access to audiology, occupational therapy, orthoptics, physiotherapy, psychology and speech pathology.
